Now the highlights. Our initial walkthrough of the house was fine, there were a few problems with the analog voice recorder's batteries. The voice recorder continually shut off in Joan's bedroom, I changed the batteries, which were fresh, and the problem ceased as we went through a spare bedroom, and the bathroom. We then went through the living room with a few emf reading, most were dispelled, and there is a hanging light in the Dinning room that sets off the detectors in about a 3ft radius around it.
After the living room and the Dinning room we went up to the attic where again the analog voice recorder started malfunctioning and shutting off, the EMF's were getting set off on the steps. After the attic we went into the Kitchen area and the emfs were again going off in a small breakfast nook we could not find any cause.
We then proceeded to the basement; one of the detectors was getting set off. First reading was second step from the top; second detector did not read anything. There was a lot of activity in the basement and that became a point of interest later in the investigation.
After doing the basement we paused for about an hour to do an on camera interview and then went back to hot spots. After the interview three investigators went back to the basement. One started feeling an oppressive sensation on the second step from the top; I personally started having a nauseous feeling that gained in intensity, as I got closer to the bed in the basement. The investigator feeling oppressed was unable to stay in the basement, I stayed for about 10 min, third investigator stayed for longer and also reported a feeling of nausea.
Group met in Dinning room to discuss everything that had been going on, and test out dowsing rods, which were very active. After about a half hour myself and one other investigator went down to the basement again. Feeling of nausea returned almost immediately along with feeling very hot and starting to sweat. The investigator with me was also feeling sick but we continued to the basement where we proceeded to talk to one of the spirits that Jane* and Joan* refer to as Jacob.
The other investigator, Jerry, started trying to provoke Jacob into showing himself or talking to us on the voice recorders. He felt an intense pain on his right side. That we thought was caused by the sick feeling. We progressed through the basement and went back upstairs.
At the beginning of the investigation the group made a trip around the outside of the house split into two teams. Neither group picked up anything outside of the house, pictures taken do not show anything either.
At this time the investigation was declared over and we stayed for a few minutes talking with the owners, the time was about 11:00pm, investigation started at 8:00pm. Total time in the house was 3 hours.
At midnight after everyone had gone home I received a phone call from Jerry. He told me that he looked at his side where it hurt him and there were three marks that looked like finger prints followed by a scratch mark on his side. Unfortunately at that time he did not have a camera to take pictures of it and plans were made for me to come photograph it today.
However, upon meeting this afternoon the marks are no longer visible and could not be captured on camera. As I said this is not a full report but it does contain the highlights.
Final conclusion: The house is very active, according to Jane and Joan we were actually there on a slow night and the activity tends to pick up during the waxing of the moon. It also seems that activity picks up later in the night.
